Today I spotted a promise of summer. Blooms are sprouting in the yard. I am cautious of rushing the seasons as we just survived winter, however hopeful. The morning stared out cold. Bob and I tried to sleep in 7am. Sleeping in does not go without cost. Puppie(Elvis who is no longer a pup) wet himself and Nickel was kicking his stall door.We worked in the yard doing a bit spring cleaning and took the team for a drive. The yard work is a bit overwhelming, there is a lot of destruction from the ice storm.
