Plow Day at The Abenaki Draft Horse Club

 Plow Day

On Sunday Bob and I went to the Abenaki Draft Horse Clup to help plow the garden.

Here is our team Nickel and Thomas.

This team of Mares belongs to George and Liz Day, this is Liz driving.

Both teams did a good job , it is a good size field.

Walking behind our team here is Nate, driving the plow.

 George taking a turn.

Look how handsome Thomas is with his head, down.

Our New Wagonette

Bob and I had a very busy week end with the team.

Friday night they came in the barn for some grooming.
Saturday they went out back onto some nice green pasture.
Sunday was our 28th wedding anniversary, and we took a road trip. We drove to Cedar Knoll Farm in Conneticut, and purchased this beutiful wagonette. As soon as we returned home to the farm we hitched the team and went out for a drive.

All Starts No Stop's

It has not rained a drop sense we dug the hole for the duck pond.

Put the nice dry days, are making it possible to start other projects.

I cleaned and organized the storage sheds for my pots.

This gives me more space in the hoop house, a project for next week.
