Just Rewards

I am sitting waiting for the water pot to boil, and wishing my kids lived closer. Such a comforting meal underway, it would only be better if shared with loved ones. It is only 3:39 and my body aches from a very active "day off" that started at sun rise .Bob and I did barn chores together then enjoyed our second cup of coffee. I scrubbed the house and washed laundry (it's January  yet the clothes line is full)While I was in doors Bob n Lager visited Agway and then cut brush. In an attempt to take full advantage of the weather I scrubbed the barn,stall doors and floors. Then Bob and I visited our hay man and stock piled hay now some rest and a comforting meal spaghetti carbonara.
